There were many opportunities for Senior High School students, such as drastically shifting the future of education and learning what part technology plays in our lives as students. It guides us to complete our works and tasks quickly with the aid of ICT. In certain subject fields, the effectiveness of ICT supports and improves the way teaching and learning is done. The use of information and communication technology (ICT) was assigned to raising awareness of a variety of topics affecting young people. Today's youth are widely exposed to technology. And for this blog, I would like to share my journey in learning process as a student using ICT Platform.
At first, I had no idea what the meaning of ICT was for us, but as the lessons progressed, I learned several things, such as the importance of technology on all of us. SHS students have many opportunities, such as improving our awareness and ability by learning how to use ICT, including the definition, concepts, and task. Because of the use of social media, I have become more mindful of the problems that are affecting our culture. Many people use social media to exchange and distribute information about global issues, such as the controversy about Rabiya Mateo's Miss Universe outfit. As a result, many netizens, especially the youth, responded to the topic, and we are all aware of it. Aside from the opportunities, I faced obstacles during this Senior High School's ICT, such as a slow Internet connection. We are having trouble searching for and sending files to the teachers due to the slow Internet access. We are wasting so much time on the slow connection. But amidst with those problems I experienced, I am proud to say that I was able to cope up. All you need to do to make a good portfolio is you must first have patience and don’t get lazy when making. Take your cellphone away when not in use and just concentrate and don't let anything slow you down in creating your own digital portfolio. When you were experiencing slow connection, try to go to library to read some articles.
Based on what I've learned about ICT, I'd actually use the skills in almost every aspect of my life because, as we all know, computers and technology are everywhere. Prior to these experiences, my expertise and ability to use ICT will be fortunately put to use during my college years, as this will be of great assistance in completing research and paper works, preparing blogs, digital portfolios and even more ICT relationships will undoubtedly be used and enhanced; it is also an asset to Senior High Students in that we will be able to apply ICT more easily when we have already done so. We are open to inventions, so we can make the most use of them in the future to address problems and assist others.
